The Armenian armed forces continue to subject to heavy artillery and missile fire the civilian population and civilian infrastructure facilities grossly violating the requirements of the humanitarian ceasefire, as well as the main norms and principles of the 1949 Geneva Conventions.
According to the Press Service of Azerbaijan Prosecutor General's Office, starting from the early hours of 19.10.2020, Tartar region has been subjected to intensive missile and heavy artillery fire from different directions by units of the Armenian armed forces.
Today at 16:00 o'clock, after a shell struck Azadgaragoyunlu village of the region, a fire broke out in Tartar subsidiary of the "Cotton Processing Factory" Ltd.
Currently, an investigation is underway by employees of the Prosecutor's Office.
