Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Lord Anas Sarwar, Minister of State for Trade at the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade of the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of strategic partnership between the two countries, particularly the expansion of cooperation in transport, digital development, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed, along with a Roadmap on Cooperation in Transport and Digital Development. An agreement was also reached to establish a Joint Working Group to coordinate the implementation of the measures envisaged in the documents.
The sides also exchanged views on opportunities for developing transport infrastructure and financing priority projects.
