On January 25, the Chargé d'Affaires of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan, Seyyed Jafar Aghaei Maryan, was summoned to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. At the meeting, the Azerbaijani side pointed out the unacceptability of participation of several religious figures, including the Qazvin Friday imam, in anti-Azerbaijani activities.
