Cavusoglu: "We have not forgotten your words "Turkey is not here, but I am here, we are here"

"There is no need for you to thank us for the Azerbaijani brothers who have arrived together with our citizens from China, because we are the children of the same nation. As national leader, late Heydar Aliyev said, we are two states, but one nation. Thus, surely, we could not make a difference between those brothers and our citizens, we could not leave them helpless. Now, they are comfortable, good in Turkey; they write to me; we have relations. You would do the same," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu at the reception of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.  

The Minister noted that Turkey and Azerbaijan will always support each other: "We have learnt and learn to support each other from you. A Turk, a citizen of the Republic of Turkey can never forget your words "Turkey is not here, but I am here, we are here". Under your leadership, we will continue our cooperation and common work against all the hardships, and under your leadership, Turkey and Azerbaijan will achieve their goals. We will continue our fight against double standards and those, who demonstrate it, together. As we always say, defending the right and fair struggle of Azerbaijan is a task for us. I once again express my gratitude to you for receiving us."
