An international scientific-practical conference entitled "The Islamic law culture in modern Russia: situation and prospects" has been held in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria Republic of the Russian Federation – Nalchik.

AZTV.AZ reports that the significance of the II Baku Summit of the World Religious Leaders was touched upon at the event with the participation of the Azerbaijani delegation. Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade noted that close relations between the Caucasian religious leaders are of great importance for the region's peoples.

Within the framework of its visit to Nalchik, the Azerbaijani delegation met with head of Kabardino-Balkaria Republic Kazbek Kokov. Allahshukur Pashazade highlighted that joint fight must be carried out against fascism. Kazbek Kokov spoke about the development of cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan in all fields.  Assistant to the President for Public and Political Issues Ali Hasanov emphasized that the bilateral ties are at the level of strategic partnership and that relations are successfully developing at an international level.
