Twenty-four Bastion armored personnel carriers produced by the French Arquus group have been sent to Armenia.

Another 26 vehicles of the same type, which are currently in the production stage, are expected to be delivered later.

Armenia recently signed an order for three GM2 200 radars from Thales and negotiations are underway for the supply of MISTRAL 3 anti-aircraft missile systems.

On October 23, 2023, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said that France is helping Armenia improve its air defense capabilities through the sale of three GM 200 radars and an agreement on future supplies of Mistral anti-aircraft missiles. He also noted that France will help Armenia prepare its ground defense forces and will support the country's efforts to reform and modernize its armed forces.
