The winners of Azerbaijan Radio's Contest of Poems, Stories and Essays have been revealed. 

According to the Social Media and PR Department of the "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" CJSC, about 350 participants have joined the contest; six of them have become the winners. Three places are allocated to the participants submitting poems, and the other three to the participants submitting prose.  

4-grader Zahra Imranli has taken the 1st place with her poem "The iron-fisted commander"; 7-grader Leyla Rahimli has taken the 2nd place with her poem "This road leads to Shusha", and 9-grader Adil Masimov has taken the 3rd place with his poem "Karabakh has become free". 

4-grader Aylin Aghazade has taken the 1st place with her prose sample "My father"; Khadija Allahverdiyeva has taken the 2nd place with her prose sample "Dream"; Khadija Aliyeva has taken the 3rd place with her prose sample "The glorious flag". 

The CJSC chairman Rovshan Mammadov has received the winners of the Contest. He has congratulated the schoolchildren and wished them success. 

It is noteworthy that the author of the idea of the Contest is Deputy Chairman of the CJSC, honorable artist Rafig Hashimov. The jury members of the Contest are writer Saday Budagli, poet Gismat Rustamov, honorable cultural figure Telli Panahgizi, writer-playwright Elchin Huseynbayli and poet Salim Babullaoghlu.
