Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu had a telephone conversation on April 8, the MFA has reported.

The ministers exchanged views on the current situation in the region, including the implementation of trilateral statements.

The sides discussed the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and a high-level meeting in Brussels.

During the telephone conversation, they also debated the situation in and around Ukraine, cooperation on multilateral platforms, and other issues of mutual interest.
