Sahiba Gafarova: "Zangazur corridor will create new opportunities for EU member states"

"Armenia destroyed our territories during the occupation period. After liberating the occupied territories, Azerbaijan has numerously made proposals to Armenia regarding the signing of a peace agreement," said chairperson of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova at the plenary meeting today commenting on the visit to the Baltic countries. 

"The opening of the Zangazur corridor will create opportunities not only for the region, but also for the EU member countries. Our country makes a significant contribution to the energy secutiy of the European Union," the speaker noted.

It is noteworthy that parlamentarians have also approved the cooperation agreement in the field of food security between Azerbaijan and Turkey at the plenary meeting of Milli Majlis.
