Schools in Azerbaijan named after Polad Hashimov, Ilgar Mirzayev, Shukur Hamidov

Secondary school No 20 in the city of Sumgayit was named after Polad Hashimov, according to a decision signed by Prime Minister Ali Asadov "On perpetuation of the names of heroes of the Patriotic War who died for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan".

According to the decision, secondary school No 20 in the city of Sumgayit was named after "National hero of Azerbaijan" Polad Israyil oglu Hashimov.

Then, Baku city secondary school No 98 was named after "National Hero of Azerbaijan" Ilgar Anzor oglu Mirzayev, Khanlig village of Gubadli region secondary school No3 (temporarily located in Absheron region) was named after "National Hero of Azerbaijan" Shukur Nariman oglu Hamidov.
