Azerbaijan registers 2,266 new coronavirus cases

2,266 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 1,194 patients have been recovered, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers has reported.

According to the Task Force, 24 persons have died after testing positive for COVID-19.

“The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 520,068, with 486,426 recoveries and 6,939 deaths, while treatment of 26,703 others is underway.

A total of 5,131,033 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country so far,” the Task Force added.
