Financial assistance allocated to religious organizations in Azerbaijan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed on July 8 an order on the support of the activity of religious organizations in the country. 

In accordance with the order, 2 million AZN have been allocated from the President's Reserve Fund to the Caucasian Muslims Office, 350, 000 AZN - to Baku and Azerbaijan Eparchy religious institution of the Russian Orthodox Church, 350, 000 AZN - Baku City Montainous Jews religious community, 150, 000 AZN - Baku religious community of European Jews, 150, 000 AZN - the Apostolic Prefecture of the Catholic Church of Azerbaijan Republic and 150, 000 AZN - the Alban-Udin Christian religious community of Azerbaijan Republic and 100, 000 AZN - to the Fund for the Promotion of Moral Values under the State Committee for Work with Religious Communities of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
