Number of coronavirus cases in Azerbaijan exceeds 2, 000

2, 146 people have been infected with COVID-19, 838 people have recovered in Azerbaijan within the last 24 hours.

According to the Operative Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, 25 people, who earlier tested positive for the coronavirus, have died. So far, 259, 476 people have contracted the coronavirus in Azerbaijan. 237, 338 people have recovered, 3, 538 people have died, and 17, 317 people are under ongoing treatment. 

Over the past period, 2, 858, 773 tests have been conducted. The number of tests carried out today is 14, 099.
