On November 3, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Askhat Khassenov, Chairman of the Management Board of Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas.
During the meeting, the sides noted that the strategic relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan were also developing successfully in the energy sector.
They reviewed the implementation of the Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation signed between SOCAR and KazMunayGas in 2024, including efforts to expand cooperation in transporting Kazakh oil through Azerbaijan and opportunities for partnership in various areas of the energy sector.
