Arif
Nizam Alyshanov was born in July 30 of 1960 in Baku city.
He finished the secondary school number 45 and graduated
the department of accounting, economy and business analysis
from the Institute of National Economy after D. Bunyatzadeh.
In 1984, he received a degree of economist. In subsequent
years, he graduated from the Institute of Journalism of
Azerbaijan Union of Journalists and the department of ideology
from Baku High Party School.
In
1977, alongside with education, he started to work at Azerbaijan
State Television & Radio Broadcasting Committee. Having
completed the active military service, he continued his
professional activity at AZTV.
As
of 1981, he had been in a post as division manager, further
the head of the department and the head of the main department.
Since 1997, he had been holding a position of the Technical
Production Union Director. As of May 17 of 2001, still holding
the position of Director of the same Union, he had also
been in a post as Deputy Chairman of «Azerbaijan State Television
& Radio Broadcasting» Company on Techniques.
Under
the relevant Executive Orders of the President signed in
May 28 of 2005, and in August 16 of 2006, Mr. Alyshanov
has been appointed to the posts of the Deputy Chairman and
Chairman of «Azerbaijan Television & Radio Broadcasting»
Closed Joint-Stock Company respectively.
Mr.
Alyshanov has Ph.D. in Economics and is fluent in Turkish
and Russian.
Mr.
Alyshanov is married, has three children and two grandchildren.
