Members of the Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Turkish Parliaments have had a meeting with speaker of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov. Welcoming members of the Kazakh, Kyrgyz and Turkish Parliaments who had arrived in Azerbaijan to join the 1st meeting of the Commission of International Relations of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-Speaking Countries, Speaker of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov cast a glance at the history of the TURKPA. He said over the past 2 years the organization has integrated into the international community rapidly. Now, it participates in events organized by prestigious organizations as an observer and guest. Speaking of the potential of the commission, the speaker expressed hope due to successful activity TURKPA will become a powerful organization. Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Muharrem Inje and Member of the Kazakh Parliament Valihan Konurbayev stressing that the official Baku had hosted the first meeting of the commission on the highest level mentioned achievements Azerbaijan’s gained in political and economic fields recently. Extending their congratulations on Azerbaijan’s selection a non-permanent member of the UNSC, they said it was representation of all Turkic countries.
