President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received credentials of newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine Alexander Mishenko

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on 19th april credentials of newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine Alexander Mishenko.

 The newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine Alexander Mishenko passed along the guard of honor and presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev... The Head of State had a conversation with the Ambassador. President Aliyev praised development of Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations. Ilham Aliyev said Presidents of the two countries enjoy close ties. The President said Azerbaijan and Ukraine had wider opportunities to further develop friendship and partnership relations. Reminding his last visit to Kiev, President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the importance of the reciprocal visits by the heads of states. The Head of State said Azerbaijanis experience high respect for the Ukrainian state and people. The Head of State expressed hope Azerbaijan-Ukraine relationship would further develop during the Ambassador’s tenure.

The Ukrainian diplomat said he would spare no efforts to contribute to further strengthening of the bilateral relationship.
