Turkish Labor and Social Security Ministry’s delegation visits Azerbaijan

The delegation led by Turkish Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Ahmet Zahterogullari held a meeting at Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population. The aim of the visit was to enhance the cooperation between the two brotherly countries in the field of labor and employment.  Ahead of the meeting, the event attendees visited the tomb of National Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Alley of Honor. The outstanding ophthalmologist, Academician Zarifa Aliyeva’s memory was also honored. Further, the guests laid a wreath at the Eternal Fire memorial complex erected at the Alley of Martyrs in honor of those who died for the country’s independence. Then, the guests visited the monument erected in honor of Turkish soldiers. Afterwards, the representative of both Ministries met at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Fizuli Alekberov speaking about the achievements gained in recent years stressed broadening of relations between the two fraternal countries in all fields including the labor and employment sectors. The Minister stated that economy of Azerbaijan is dynamically developing as a result of which 900 thousand new jobs were created in the country. He added that 50 thousand Azerbaijani citizens are employed at 600 Turkish companies operating in Azerbaijan. Turkish Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection Ahmet Zahterogullari spoke with great satisfaction about the level of relations between the two fraternal countries and the hospitability he was received with in Azerbaijan. He says a lot had been done for strengthening of friendship relations between the two nations. During the meeting, discussions were made on establishment of new relations in labor and employment spheres as well as enhancement of business ties.
