OUR MOTHERLAND AZERBAIJAN

The “OUR MOTHERLAND AZERBAIJAN” program prepared by the Author Programs and Special Projects Chief Editorial Department talks about the culture, traditions and customs, household, cuisine, lifestyle and nature of the ethnic minorities living in Azerbaijan.
In accordance with the 2009 census, 8.4% of the Azerbaijani population is ethnic minorities, representatives of ethnic groups living in the territory of Azerbaijan. These are Jews, Talishs, Kurds, Tats, Avars, Sakhurs, Lezgins, Rutuls, Molocans, Ingiloys, Gypsies, Udins, Germans, Russians, etc. Each edition of the program touches upon the culture, traditions and customs, household, cuisine, lifestyle and nature of one nation. The “OUR MOTHERLAND AZERBAIJAN” program develops the patriotic mindset in viewers.
A motherland is a geography where a nation lives. The history a nation lives there and cultural ties it establishes are what makes soil a motherland. A motherland is the house of a nation, and a nation is a family living in the motherland.
