"The Armenian armed forces have once again grossly violated the requirements of the humanitarian ceasefire regime by subjecting to missile attack Barda city which is located outside the zone of the military operations. As a result of the cluster rockets fired from "Smerch", four civilians, as well as a seven-year-old girl, have died. Fourteen people, including four children, have been seriously injured," First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has written on her official Instagram account.

The Instagram post cites: "The killing of civilians during armed conflicts is the grossest violation of the 1949 Geneva Convention and overall, norms of international humanitarian law. How many more innocent people should die from the hands of Armenian aggressors so that the world community stops quietly watching these crimes? I extend my deepest condolences to the relatives of those killed and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. We will liberate our territories from aggressors and put an end to these crimes.

May great God protect our Motherland!"
