A documentary about Baku victory of the Islamic Army of the Caucasus will premiere on Azerbaijan Television (AzTV).

The documentary “The Islamic Army of the Caucasus” will be broadcast on September 14 at 21:30.

Some events will be demonstrated in a figurative form. Real footages have also been used in the film. Thus, the documentary also contains real footages of one of the founders of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic Mammad Amin Rasulzade.

These footages have first been broadcast on “In the traces of history” program of AzTV.

The documentary has been shot by the “History” section of the Public-Political Programs Department.

The scriptwriter of the “Islamic Army of the Caucasus” documentary is Mahir Garibov, director is Mehpara Najafova and project manager is Sarvar Bayramov.

It is noteworthy that on September 15, 1918, the Islamic Army of the Caucasus and Azerbaijan Corpus entered Baku and liberated it from Armenian Bolsheviks. Thus, the independence of Azerbaijan was secured, and the authority of Armenians and Bolsheviks in Baku and adjacent regions came to an end.
