143 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 130 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospital, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told.

According to the Task Force, two persons have died after testing positive for COVID-19.

“The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 36,578, with 33,977 recoveries and 536 deaths, while treatment of 2,065 others is underway in the specialized hospitals.

As many as 6,597 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, raising the total number of tests to 928,666,” the Task Force said.
