1, 572 people violating special quarantine regime fined

The Main State Traffic Police Department has revealed the number of citizens who have been fined for trying to enter or leave Baku violating the special quarantine regime. 

Head of the Department of the Main State Traffic Police Department, colonel Kamran Aliyev has noted that from June 21 till June 22, overall, 1, 572 people have been fined. 

He has said that drivers of 900 vehicles, whose movement was not allowed, have been identified on Baku-Shamakhi and Baku-Guba roads and sent back.

It is noteworthy that a decision has been adopted in connection with additional measures on tightening the special quarantine regime in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran, Yevlakh, Masalli, Jalilabad cities and Absheron region. 

In accordance with the decision, the strict quarantine regime will last from June 21, 00:00 until July 5, 06:00.
