Grandson of one of the founders of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic Mahammad Emin Rasulzade Rais Rasulzade has become the guest of Azerbaijan Television's (AzTV) "Telemorning" program.

He talked about what happened to his father Azer Rasulzade and how he visited Baku in a hidden way during the Soviet period.

He noted that his father had been numerously subjected to provocations. There were even people who wanted to use the death of Mahammad Emin Rasulzade: "In 1955, they called my father and said, "Your father had died in Ankara, do you want to go?" Of course, they would send my father to Ankara on special terms. My father was 35 years old, he knew that doing different stuff and creating connections with some people were also included in the terms. My father said that he did not want to go."

Rais Rasulzade also said why he had come to Azerbaijan: "In 1965, I came to Baku. My father objected. However, I knew everything and said that I had to restore justice."

He also revealed the last wish of his father: "My father bequeathed to be buried in the Motherland. When somebody told Heydar ALiyev that Rasulzade's son had died, he asked, "Haven't you brought him yet?" Later, we learnt that a plane was coming. They came at night and buried him near his grandfather in Novkhani."

You can watch the memories of R.Rasulzade in the video.
