The Azerbaijanis, who were on a trip in Germany and could not come back due to the pandemic, were evacuated and brought back to Azerbaijan on May 19. 

According to AzTV, more than 190 Azerbaijani citizens were evacuated to Azerbaijan via Berlin-Baku charter flight. The evacuation process was carried out based on the application to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Germany. The citizens, who have arrived in Azerbaijan, have expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani government and relevant institutions. 

It is noteworthy that the Azerbaijanis evacuated from Germany will stay in quarantine for a while.
