The SMS permission system will be eliminated in all regions and cities of Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, except Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, Lankaran cities and Absheron region.

According to the Operative Headquarters of the Cabinet of Ministers, the decision will enter into force since May 4, 2020, 00:00.

Thus, citizens will not have to receive an SMS permission through registering on the "icaze.e-gov.az" portal to leave their location.
