On April 29, a meeting of the Azerbaijani National Olympic Committee (NOC) was held under the leadership of vice-president Chingiz Huseynzade. The exchange of information was held at the meeting regarding the works carried out by the National Olympic Committee during the quarantine regime and the issues planned.

According to the Committee, during the discussions, the athletes, who have qualified for Tokyo Olympics, were recommended to continue their exercises in home conditions. A number of steps taken by the NOC for improving the psychological state and morale of athletes during the quarantine regime were also reviewed. 

Recommendations and instructions of the International Olympic Committee and the European Olympic Committee were also reviewed.
