Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has joined a videoconference held in an unofficial format with the participation of several “OPEC+” countries.
The current state on the oil market and issues related to the fulfillment of obligations since May have been discussed at the videoconference.
According to Azerbaijan’s Energy Ministry, Minister P. Shahbazov has urged other oil producers, which are not represented in the “OPEC+” format, to take over obligations.
“OPEC+” fulfills a historical mission and has taken over relevant obligations. Now, the oil producers, which are not represented in the “OPEC+” format should actively join this process and declare their obligations,” the Minister stated.
