The Jack Ma and Alibaba Foundations of the People’s Republic of China have rendered medical humanitarian aid to Azerbaijan within the fight against COVID-19.

Medical masks, testing kits, special protective gowns, oxygen hoods and thermometers are included in the humanitarian assistance.
Director of the section for the health field of the Department of Social Issues of the Cabinet of Ministers Lala Kazimova has expressed gratitude to the Jack Ma and Alibaba Foundations on behalf of the Azerbaijani government. “We hope that this pandemic will end with fewer losses soon,” she added.

Currently, the Azerbaijani and Chinese people remain committed to the traditions of friendship and show solidarity in these challenging times. The fact that the People’s Republic of China has recently presented Azerbaijan testing kits for detecting COVID-19 is the clear example of that friendship. In turn, Azerbaijan has also shown solidarity with China since the first days of the fight against the pandemic and spared no material and moral support to China.
