First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Republic Mehriban Aliyeva has made a post on her official Instagram page in connection with March 31 - the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis.

The post reads: "Today is March 31 - the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis. Despite all the tragedies, hardships and injustice faced throughout history, our people havepreserved the independence zeal, demonstrated strong will, unbreakable unity and solidarity and achieved the further strengthening of our state's might maintaining the shocks of the deportation, ethnic cleansing and massacres. I commemorate the memory of the victims of the genocide. May all of our martyrs rest in peace."
