Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on erecting a monument to Muslum Magomayev.

In accordance with the order, a monument to prominent Azerbaijani artist, world-famous opera and pop singer, People’s Artist of the USSR Muslum Mahammad Magomayev will be erected in Baku.

Baku City Executive Power and the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan Republic have been authorized to implement all the measures in connection with erecting the monument.
