In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, complex measures are taken for the comfortable and safe movement of pedestrians, as well as prevention of traffic jams.

Currently, underground and land pedestrian crossings are constructed in 10 areas of the capital. The projection of a crosswalk in additional 6 areas is also planned. One of the underground crosswalks, which completion is nearing an end, is located at the crossroads of Heydar Aliyev avenue and Zaki Mammadov street. The length of the crossing is 80, the width – 4.4 and height – 3 meters. The crosswalk constructed in accordance with the modern requirements will be commissioned soon.

Within the framework of the renovation works carried out starting from 7.5 kilometers of Baku-Guba-Russian Federation state border automobile road, Khirdalan circle and in the opposite direction, the Ecology post will also be demolished. A post will be built in distance. Some works have already been launched in this direction.

The tunnel in Khirdalan circle is also being enlarged for the prevention of traffic jams in the area.

The works are planned to be completed in June.
