First President of Kazakhstan Republic Nursultan Nazarbayev has congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

The congratulation letter reads:

"Dear Ilham Heydar oghlu.

I cordially congratulate You on the victory of the New Azerbaijan Party led by You in the February 9 parliamentary elections.

I consider that this victory is the result of the support of the Azerbaijani people for Your constructive foreign and domestic policy, as well as the reforms carried out by You.

As the chairman of the "Nur-Otan" Party, I highly appreciate the relations between the leading political institutions of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan based on sincerity and trust.
