A pupil from Baku has achieved a great result at the international competition held in Iran.

9th grader from No 258 secondary school under Baku City Education Department Vali Valiyev has raised the Azerbaijani flag and voiced the Azerbaijani anthem by claiming victory over all his rivals at the International Karate Competition.

V. Valiyev (57-60) has won a gold medal and the Cup by winning over 3 Armenian athletes at the competition with the participation of 12 countries.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first attainment of the Baku pupil. Earlier, he won a total of 12 gold medals at the domestic and international competitions.
