Another meeting of the Artistic Council under "Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting" CJSC (AzTV) has been held.

Addressing the meeting, chairman of the CJSC Rovshan Mammadov touched upon the meeting of the Artistic Council with Sumgayit public on January 25. The chairman said that this kind of meetings are important: "As Azerbaijan Television, the public opinion is one of the most important factors for us. Therefore, we should further intensify this kind of meetings."

Members of the Council – People’s Artists of Azerbaijan Mubariz Taghiyev, Faig Sujaddinov, editor-in-chief of the Literary-Drama Programs Department of AzTV Flora Khalilzade, honorable art figure, fashion designer Fakhriyya Khalafova, People’s Artist Mansum Ibrahimov, People’s Artist Ramiz Guliyev and others highly assessed the results of the meeting with Sumgayit public and voice the propositions of the city residents. The Council members noted that Sumgayit public commended the serious changes made on AzTV over the past year, tens of new programs and changes on the Azerbaijani Radio.

"Several people approached me and said, "We have been watching AzTV for 6-7 months," Mansum Ibrahimov said.

Addressing the praises and proposals of the public, Rovshan Mammadov highlighted that recently, 10 live programs have gone on air on the Azerbaijani Radio.

During the discussion of proposals regarding cartoons, the chairman added that the CJSC has already ordered the filming of a cartoon dedicated to the April battles that resulted in the victory of the Azerbaijani army over the occupational Armenian militants: "We have even sent the facial features of our heroes who stood out in the April battles, so that faces of true heroes are reflected in the film. This is a step for passing the heroism of our army to the future generation."

Afterwards, a number of actual issues on the agenda have been discussed. The next meeting of the Artistic Council with the public will be held in Baku’s Khazar district on February 8.
