The transition to the card system on all buses is one of the significant steps in passenger transportation. In accordance with the requirements set by the state, the transition of buses operating in the territory of the capital to the card system is carried out fast.

The transition to the cashless payment system is important in terms of preventing the informal employment and ensuring transparency. On the basis of the requirements set for transporters, the renovation of the bus parks is one of the main factors speeding up the transition to the card system. According to the statistics, in the territory of the capital, 598 buses on 29 regular routes operate with the card system. On January 24, bus No 4 will also transition to the card system.

Passengers are the supporters of the transition to the cashless payment in terms of comfort and security in public transport.

Prior to the transition of buses to the card system, an analysis is carried out on that bus route by experts. If necessary, new stops and terminals for topping up Bakucard’s balance are set up.

From the early days of February, the integration of buses to the card system will be speeded up. In the first half of 2020, the transition of all buses in the territory of the capital to the cashless payment will be ensured.
