Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, general-colonel Zakir Hasanov has departed for Tbilisi on an official visit at the invitation of his Georgian counterpart Irakli Garibashvili.

Within the framework of the visit, the Defense Minister will discuss the prospects of the bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia, issues of the international and regional security with the military and political leadership of the neighboring country.

The delegation headed by Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, general-colonel Zakir Hasanov, who is on an official visit to Georgia, has visited Heydar Aliyev park in the capital Tbilisi.

The delegation has laid a wreath in front of the monument of the national leader and commemorated his memory.
