Azerbaijan's First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva has posted on her Instagram page on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of January 20 Tragedy.

The post reads: "January 20 1990 has entered the Azerbaijani history as one of the most tragic days. 30 years ago, the heroic sons and daughters of our nation reached the peak of martyrdom by sacrificing their lives for the freedom and independence of our Motherland. On the National Mourning Day, I commemorate the dear memory of the innocent victims of January 20 Tragedy. May all the martyrs rest in peace!"
