"A big Russian delegation will visit Azerbaijan to observe the snap parliamentary elections to be held in the country on February 9," said chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Russian State Duma Leonid Slutsky.

He noted that members of the Russian Federation Council and MPs are in the delegation. "Besides, Russia will also observe the elections within the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and other international organizations. I have numerously observed both the presidential, and parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. I am confident that these elections will also be held in a fair way,” Leonid Slutsky highlighted.
