AzTV will surprise its viewers with the New Year surprise on December 31.

Refusing the traditional New Year festivity, the TV channel has prepared a special gift for its viewers - the musical film entitled "The Frost". The scriptwriter, second director and lead actor of the film is presenter of AzTV’s "White&Black" program, actor Kamran Aghabalayev.

"This movie is a contemporary fairytale telling about the necessity of being kind, careful towards our beloved ones not only on holidays or some remarkable days, but also on a constant basis," said general producer of AzTV, director and general producer of "The Frost" film Nazila Babayeva.

The shooting of AzTV’s New Year project took place in Baku, as well as in one of Turkey’s resort venues with the participation of actors Aydan Akhundzade and Ibrahim Chingiz, People’s Artists of Azerbaijan Gurban Ismayilov and Vagif Asadov, honorable artist Sanubar Isgandarli and AzTV’s presenters.

Famous Turkish actor known from "The High Society", "You are my Motherland", "My brother" and "The Abandoned" projects Emir Garipler also took part in the shootings.

According to Nazila Babayeva, the soundtracks of "The Frost" film have been selected carefully and performed by renowned artists Zulfiyya Khanbabayeva, Aygun Kazimova, Sevda Alakbarzade, Eldar Gasimov, Faig Aghayev, Roya, Tunzala Aghayeva, Adalat Shukurov, Samira, "Rast" band, "Natig" rhythm group and legendary Zeynab Khanlarova.   

It is necessary to note that within "The Frost" film, every singer’s appearance on screen and their songs are not simply musical performances, but also separate music clips.

For instance, People’s Artist Zulfiyya Khanbabayeva was filmed performing her famous "Airport" song at the airport for "The Frost" project.

The executive producer is Mushvig Karimov, cameramen are Ogtay Namazov, Agshin Rzayev, Azad Arifoghlu, Faig Shirinbayli, Elvin Rahimli, sound engineer is Sadig Huseynov, video director is Pasha Nasibov, costume designer is Sabina Asad.

"The Frost" musical film will be broadcast on December 31 at 21:30.
