A ceremony on the sporting outcomes of 2019 has been held at the National Olympic Committee.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev has attended the ceremony.

The head of state has delivered a speech at the event.

Afterwards, awards have been presented to the athletes and sports experts who have contributed to the development of the physical education and sports in Azerbaijan and those who have demonstrated high achievements in 2019.

The head of state presented the documents on the provision of the individual scholarship of the President of Azerbaijan Republic to Alavardi Julfayev, Yavuz Hajiyev for the service in the development of sports in our country.  

Cards of honorable physical education and sport figure have been presented to Pasha Aliyev, Tarlan Hasanov, Shahlar Mustafayev, Azar Hasanov, Igdam Alakbarov, Tofig Heydarov and Boyukagha Aghayev; honorable  doctor cards has been presented to Natig Aliyev and Emiliya Huseynova and a journalist card has been presented to Rashad Javadov.

At the event, Parviz Taghiyev, Ramiz Guliyev, Nazim Samadov, Orkhan Garibov, Yalchin Garali, Shahin Mahmudov, Nadir Azizov and Ramil Ahmadov have been awarded honorary diplomas.  

Documents on the awarding of apartments have been presented to a group of athletes and sports experts : Salman Alizade, Bahram Murvatov, Garib Aliyev, Rashad Mammadov, Ramiz Ramizzade, Bahruz Salehli, Sabina Mammadova, Elkhan Suleymanov, Said Guliyev, Abulfaz Mammadov, Rashad Abdurrahmanov, Vladislav Gadirov, Anar Allahverdiyev, Khanim Balajayeva, Karim Sardarov, Emil Hasanov, Kamil Gafarov, Jeyhun Huseynov, Asiman Gurbanli, Jabbar Mustafayev, Faig Guliyev, Shahbandlu Rajabzade and Samad Gurbanov.

Afterwards, member of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee, founder and head of the Museum of Miniature Books, honorable art figure Zarifa Salahova has presented keepsakes to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
