Meeting on outcomes of year on AzTV – 56 new programs, 32 films, 17 new studios

A meeting on the outcomes of 2019 has been held in Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC).
Chairman of the CJSC Rovshan Mammadov provided information about the works carried out throughout the year. This year, overall 56 new programs have been launched in the CJSC, 32 of them on AzTV, 12 on “Madaniyyat” (Culture) TV and 12 on “Idman” (Sports) TV.
It was also stressed in the report that all the 3 channels (AzTV, Madaniyyat TV and Idman TV) have been rebranded; all schedules have been renewed.
Throughout the year, 32 new films have been prepared in CJSC, 11 of them are political and 25 are feature films, and 9 films are under production.
Moreover, 17 new studios have been built.
New server system and server rooms have been set in order to digitalize the broadcasting system and switch to HD format. As a result of the works, it will be possible to switch AzTV to HD format next year.
16 HD cameras and 2 Dejero portable stream equipment have been purchased for live connections. 69 microphones, 1 drone, 90 computers have been purchased and handed over for usage. In the upcoming days, 10 new vehicles will be purchased and handed over to the auto service.
From January till November 2019, the salaries of about 1, 000 employees have been increased, and the fees have been increased by 96%.
It was noted that after a long break, there was progress in the activity of the Teleradio Academy. R. Mammadov also emphasized that 153 people have been admitted to the Teleradio Academy throughout the year, and 73 of them have graduated. 21 of them have been hired by the CJSC.
Afterwards, the solutions to the set tasks were touched upon, new plans were discussed. The construction of a pavilion consisting of 2 floors and living rooms, the realization of the renovation works in the TV and radio buildings, the increase of the employees’ fees are also among the plans.
Rovshan Mammadov said that the implementation of all the works and the strategic plans ahead originates from the attention and care of the state to Azerbaijan Television. In accordance with the relevant orders of President Ilham Aliyev, the allocated finances play a significant role in terms of the improvement of the financial welfare of the employees, as well as purchase of the necessary equipment and transformation of the TV’s activity to a new development stage in terms of quality and content. This attention and care stimulates to build the work of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting CJSC on the basis of more professional and modern principles.
At the end, awards were presented to a group of Television and radio employees awarded by the Azerbaijani President. Gratitude was expressed to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on behalf of the CJSC’s staff.
