"A leader like Heydar Aliyev does not always come to the Turkic world," said Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral visiting the Alley of Honor on December 12th.

He noted that he visited the monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev, laid flowers to his grave and honored his memory together with employees of the Embassy and Turkish businessmen operating in Azerbaijan.  

"Heydar Aliyev is indeed a genius personality whose life should be researched and his work, activity and behavior should be taken as an example. He was a man who always thought about Azerbaijan’s sovereignty, dreamt of the day when Azerbaijan would regain its independence and dedicated his life to developing and strengthening his country. On the path to this, Heydar Aliyev was a person who put his life at risk and was always ready to sacrifice his life," the Ambassador highlighted.
