These people to be exempted from compulsory health insurance payment –LIST

Insurance fees in connection with the application of compulsory health insurance will be charged not from January 1st, but from April 1st. Concessions will be applied for a certain group of the population. After the application of compulsory health insurance, an ID will be enough for the electronic registration in hospitals.

With the help of the software, the electronic registration of citizens, the departments patients apply to, doctors and information about examination and treatment will be entered in the common system.

Due to the common system, citizens will be able to obtain information about specific diagnosis and laboratory analysis from any hospital at any time.

After the application of compulsory health insurance, citizens will be able to use medical services in accordance with the basic and additional parts of the insurance envelope.  

What is inside the basic envelope:

-          preliminary health (family doctor service)

-          ambulatory examination and treatment

-          stationary treatment

-          physiotherapy services

-          laboratory analysis

-          pregnancy and birth

-          urgent vaccinations

-          planned vaccination of children according to the vaccination calendar

-          surgery, as well as open and closed cardiovascular surgeries

-          serious dispenser examination on various diseases

In accordance with the law “On Health Insurance”, 29 AZN per capita is annually paid for the basic part of the services envelope. This amount will be paid at the expense of the state budget.

Other people will be able to receive medical help by paying 120 AZN of insurance fee per year. During the application of compulsory health insurance, concessions will be applied to a certain group of the population. Thus, pensioners, disabled people, children, low-income families, unemployed people will be exempted from the payment. The state will cover their insurance costs.
