Eco tours are organized to promote interest in national parks in the country. Another such tour has been organized to Goygol National Park. Adventure lovers hiked from Goygol to Maralgol via a different route.

They overcame the 17-km distance first by car. The first stop was Balchili pasture located near the Gazandurmaz mountain. Tour participants shot an arrow, danced yalli.

They hiked to the second stop by using mountainous paths.

During the eco tour, local and foreign tourists had an opportunity to take a walk through forests full of autumn leaves along with experiencing some “offroad” excitement.

After the 45-minute hiking, tour participants started walking towards Maralgol through the mountainous paths.

"880 years ago, more than 10 lakes emerged as a result of the rock that got broken from the peak of the Kapaz mountain and fell into the Aghsu river. One of them is Maralgol, and when you look at the beauty of Maralgol, you think that beauty can emerge even from a disaster," noted reporter of Azerbaijan Television Gunel Feyzullayeva who participated in the eco tour.

The Consul General of brotherly Turkey to Ganja was also among nature lovers.

Tourists always visit Maralgol via the traditional route. However, during this eco tour, guests had a chance to see this natural miracle from a different direction.
