Nearly 100 migrants have been detained by Polish border guards, Poland's Defense Ministry has reported. Since the beginning of the year, Polish border guards have prevented more than 35, 000 such attempts. It is 400 times more than the previous year.

According to the estimates, currently, there are approximately 20, 000 illegal migrants in the territory of Belarus.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has given an interview to Germany's "Bild" newspaper in connection with that. He has not excluded that the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border might deepen.

Thus, the Prime Minister has highlighted that the pressure of the international community might have an impact. According to him, if the migration flow stops, the European Union (EU) will help them return to their motherland.
