Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov has departed for Russia for a visit. 

According to the Ministry of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov has paid a visit to Russia at the invitation of the Russian President's assistant Anton Kobyakov and Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

The Azerbaijani Minister will take part in the international forum entitled "The Russian Energy Week" to be held on October 13-15. 

A number of bilateral meetings are planned to be held within the framework of the event.
