A serious traffic accident has occurred on the part of the airport-Mardakan road called Surakhani circle, Baku Transport Agency has reported.

A Mercedes truck traveling in the direction of Mardakan crashed into a passenger bus.

According to the preliminary information, the accident occurred when the truck driver fell asleep behind the wheel.

There are killed and injured as a result of the accident.

According to the Baku City Ambulance Station, 20 people were hospitalized with various injuries in a traffic accident on the airport road at 08:00.
