President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received on October 12 Turkey's Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum. 

Minister Murat Kurum conveyed the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of state. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked to deliver his greetings to Recep Tayyip Erdogan as well. 

It was highlighted at the meeting that the bilateral friendly and brotherly relations between the two countries were successfully developing. The sides expressed hope that the visit of the Turkish Minister of Environment and Urbanization to the country would contribute to the expansion of the ties between the relevant institutions of Azerbaijan and Turkey. 

During the meeting, it was emphasized that the Armenians did huge damage to nature in the Azerbaijani territories, set fire to forests, contaminated rivers.

The sides also exchanged views on the prospects of the cooperation at the meeting.
