In accordance with the "Strategy for Vaccination against COVID-19 for 2021-2022" in the Republic of Azerbaijan, the process of vaccination is underway across the country, Azerbaijan's Health Ministry has reported. 

Taking into account the results of recent scientific studies and the mutation of the COVID-19 virus, the Ministry of Health calls people in high-risk groups, with chronic diseases, all health care workers and the population over the age of 50 who have already been vaccinated with both doses, to be vaccinated with the 3rd dose ("booster dose") every 2 doses of vaccine.
